Virtual Wine Tasting Party

We hope you can join us (online) for yet another Virtual  Wine Tasting Party hosted by Scot & Kimberly @ DrinkWithFred.com & Prestige Wine Group respectively.  This event is particularly special because we plan to simulcast LIVE from The Fred in St. Croix USVI with special guest Alex Sokol joining us from the Sokol Blosser Winery in Willamette Valley, Oregon on Wednesday, May 27th starting at 6:30PM AST.

Alex Sokol is the Co-President, Winemaker and son of founders, Susan Sokol and Bill Blosser who opened Sokol Blosser Winery in Oregon back in 1971.  In typical family business fashion, Alex has played many roles at Sokol Blosser from cellar rat, to Vineyard Manager, to Vice President of Sales. All these prior positions groomed him for his current and last position with the winery; that of Winemaker. Alex is only the fourth winemaker to walk the catwalks in the winery since the first vintage in the Dundee Hills in 1977. He has worked with and under all the previous winemakers and brings forward those learnings and a winemaking desire to fashion Pinot Noir that inspires the world.  Today, Sokol Blosser is proud to produce  wines that are sustainably mindful of the environment, and express the distinctive flavors of their hillside vineyards.  After a brief introduction to each of the wines, Alex will be prepared to take questions directly from from each of you.

Each kit provides enough materials for 2-4 participants, all you need are glasses and a wine key (not included).  These wines are NOT available in the grocery store nor any other restaurant on St. Croix.  Pre-order your Wine Tasting Kits  via Eventbrite (while supplies last).  Sales will close at midnight on Sunday 5.24 in order to provide enough time for  you to collect your wine kits from the drop off location that you designate when you purchase tickets.   If you forget when or where to pick up your Wine Kit please check your ticket for details.
